The TechnoKats Robotics Teams mentors consists of various professionals and supportive parents from around the Kokomo area. Active members of the TechnoKats Robotics Team include Kokomo High School students, Kokomo High School teachers, Kokomo Area Career Center teachers, Ivy Tech Community College instructors, Delphi employees, Parents of KHS students. The partners on this team provide the following:
Delphi
- 75% of team costs
- Engineering mentorship
- materials and tools
- Vehicles (truck and trailer)
Duke Energy
- Reserves part of their warehouse for the TechnoKats shop.
Ivy Tech State College
- CAD/Animation project - teaching & mentoring
- Hosting of workshops (fabrication, design, etc.)
- Travel costs of instructors to Nationals
AndyMark, Inc.
- Robotics parts such as gearboxes.
Kokomo Center School Corporation
- Students & sponsoring teachers
- Travel costs of teachers to Nationals
- KACC facility use (machine trades fabrication, etc.)
- Bus and van transportation
Indiana Department of Workforce Development
- A grant used to buy parts and such.
